I strongly urge Virginia to pass SB1381ER. Transparency of shelter data, whether private or public, is vital in organizations such as these and so difficult to acquire. Not only does the public have the right to know, but once the information is exposed there is greater opportunity for solutions to be found which can ultimately reduce the killing of healthy/treatable/manageable animals. If the community doesn't know what's happening, it can't help.

I fully support the act to amend and reenact § 3.2-6500 of the Code of Virginia.
