As with  any public service there are some bad actors. However there are way more good responsible SF than there are bad.  For those that go over and beyond for their families advocate for their families and actually provide the support and services that families need should not be punished, nor should the family be punished for those few bad actors families choice should not be taken away and putting SF with a broker will not serve the families in the same capacity that  stand alone SF has. CNC already make the process difficult and getting families enrolled in the process in which SF has to step in numerous times I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to call CNC on behalf of my clients. How many times every time I calls they’re giving a different answer, depending on what rep answer the phone. This is why all stakeholder should’ve been brought to the table before the decision was made, and according to that DMAS Townhall, this whole transition is going to be a mess and a complete hardship on families do not take family choices away putting them with the broker is not providing them with the choice of who they want to work with
