I strongly oppose eliminating Service Facilitators. As a parent of an adult daughter with severe disabilities, I know how important their support is. Mistakes with paperwork, authorizations, and services happen regularly. Our Service Facilitator knows our situation and helps us resolve these problems step by step. Without them, families will be left dealing with overwhelmed central offices, waiting for answers, and struggling to resolve issues that could interrupt essential care. Families like ours already have enormous responsibilities. We need someone we can reach directly who understands our situation and can actually help.
Please keep Service Facilitators! Eliminating this personal support will leave many families overwhelmed, frustrated, and helpless when problems arise.
