The service facilitator model as it currently stands has been extremely helpful, and vital in ensuring my brother gets the best possible care he can. He is severely disabled, and having a facilitator available to help us navigate the complicated Medicaid processes and answer any questions we have in a timely manner has been so important, and vital. I know if this changes to a broker model, we will not get the same great care we currently receive. We’ve built a trusting relationship with our current facilitator and it would be devastating to my family to lose that. Please please please reconsider this proposal, and keep service facilitator in place as it is.
