To Whom it May Concern; I believe closing the Oxford houses would be a detrimental decision for so many people involved. The Oxford House is providing Affordable safe housing for many different types of people with addiction problems or etc. Yet the state wants to close Oxford houses, build new buildings that are going to be astronomically expensive to people with limited income, who are just getting by With being able to afford the Oxford house yet you want to charge them a higher rate to live in a new building? This would just cause more homelessness and unfortunately, and possibly more addiction cases. These folks living at the Oxford homes are scraping by and taking life one day at a time so why would you want to take that away?
