Hello I live in Oxford house Mosaic in Fairfax ,VA . Oxford houses are a democratically self- governing and self supporting under the oxford house system operation. I have lived in my oxford home over a year and half and after a long time of using it gave me hope, independence , and honor in knowing that i can live on my own and be a member of society. Also living with women that consider me their equal. We all share one or more things in common and addiction is one but, sobriety is the main one. I support the rules that keep people safe but, rules that require staff or assume every home is a commercial business would keep Oxford from operating in Virginia, even though research shows that our model gets the best results. Please change those rules, and please clarify that house members are considered the operator of their oxford house.
