I have a child in the center based gifted program. he is getting the learning he needs. at a speed that works for him. I have another in the school based gifted program. She just moved up a grade and this year they don't offer what she had last year.They only have a program that offers what this proposal is offering. She is now suffering through "lowest common denominator" thinking. It is a shame her middle school can't  offer  appropiate classwork to all students. Children are not homoginized milk. They are individual. They need options.
