EMS providers are at higher risk to be victims of violence in their role as an emergency responder.  They should have the same right to carry firearms as any other citizen of the Commonwealth.  Furthermore, governmental entities of the Commonwealth should exercise better diligence to ensure that no administrative regulation contradicts any other section of state law.
