I strongly urge you to adopt the least restictive regulations that will protect patients' health.
It may be the case (though I have yet to see convincing evidence) that tighter regulations are needed to protect the health of women who need to have an abortion. If so, then it's obvious, given our Virginia tradition of limited government, that any such regulations should be carefully tailored to impose the least burden on the provideders, and the least cost on the consumers, which will accomplish the needed reforms.
Looking at the proposed regulations which have been imposed so far, it's pretty obvious that abortion providers are being unConstitutionally singled out as the subjects of punitive regulations.
Please do the job to which you have been appointed, and amend these regulations.
