These requirements are just an attempt to block availability of a legal medical procedure for women. If you are going to require such unnecessary and medically useless physical plant specifications for clinics where abortions are performed, you must also require them for any procedure conducted in physicians offices or other businesses such as laser skin treatments, cystoscopy, protoscopy, abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds, etc. And if you try to do that, you will have an uprising of physicians and patients alike. As a physician and a woman, I demand that the regulations be amended based purely on publ, ished medical and scientific evidence, and any changes should not impede women's access to essential health care. Otherwise, this is sexual discrimination, plain and simple. Stay away from my rights as a human being!
