Non-live-in Employer of Record (EOR) is less beneficial

A non-live-in Employer of Record (EOR) is less beneficial than the other parent as the EOR, primarily because the role of an EOR is typically nonpaid. With a non-live-in EOR, there might be a lack of personal investment and motivation to dedicate the necessary time and effort to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the position. On the other hand, the other parent has a vested interest in the child's well-being and development, not only as the Legally Responsible Individual (LRI) but also as a parent. Their emotional connection and personal investment naturally drive them to ensure that the child's employment-related matters are handled diligently and carefully. Being in a nonpaid position, it is crucial to have someone genuinely committed to the role, and the other parent, given their connection to the child, is more likely to fulfill this commitment effectively.
