I am strongly opposed to Governor Youngkin's plan to pull Virginia out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. We as a commonwealth and nation need to face the climate emergency head-on. We cannot kick the can down the road. Virginia joined the RGGI after the state legislature approved and former Governor Northam agreed.

Governor Youngkin wants to pull Virginia out through executive action. As I understand it, he legally cannot do this alone, but needs approval from the legislature, which most emphatically has not occurred.

I urge you to reject Governor Youngkins plan!
