It is irresponsible to withdraw from the RGGI without an effective plan to reduce carbon emissions in place. It is the duty of elected officials to safeguard the health and safety of the residents of their state whether those residents voted for them or not. The withdrawal from the RGGI not only creates greater risk for those of us with asthma and Copd, it also creates greater personal and financial risks for those living in Coastal communities. The prudent action to take at this time is none. Effectively remaining in the RGGI.
