Retain the term "Severe Disability" in Virginia special-education regulations

I oppose the proposal, as developed by VDOE's Office of Dispute Resolution and Administrative Services, to delete the term "Severe Disability" from Virginia's special-education regulations. In my judgment this proposed change would harm disabled children throughout the state because many of them could be excluded from special-education programs or denied services if the definition is removed.

I favor retaining the definition of "Severe Disability" as it currently appears in the regulations.
