Virginia must stay in RGGI. It is reckless and short sided to leave a program that does so much good for the commonwealth. How will we replace the massive amount of money that comes from RGGI? How will we fund important social and environmental programs like community flood protection? Climate change is real and we must reduce our carbon emissions and we cannot give a free pass to polluters. Pulling out of RGGI is nothing more than a political ploy that will have am enormous negative impact on the commonwealth for generations to come.
