strongly oppose

As the parent of a former Loudoun County student, I strongly oppose the adoption of this policy. One of my children was LGBTQ, and labeling material which incorporates these themes as pornographic unfairly stigmatizes children who may be dealing with finding their identity in this way. Students dealing with this are already at risk for self harm and suicide, and these kinds of measures exacerbate their feelings of exclusion and rejection.
