General Information
Action Summary The Criminal Justice Services Board (CJSB) seeks to amend the minimum amount and type of liability or self insurance for special conservators of the peace as required by Virginia Code ยง 19.2-13(C). The Criminal Justice Services Board further seeks to remove the language allowing a special conservator of the peace to be covered by a cash or surety bond to conform to the changes in the Code of Virginia during the 2015 General Assembly as a result of SB1195.
