The Commonwealth Transportation Board invites your comments about the essential rail, public transportation, commuter service, bicycle, pedestrian, and highway projects (except local/secondary/municipality maintained roads) in the FY2007-2012 Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP) to be approved by the CTB in June. You can also comment about proposed allocations for the Federal Transportation Enhancements Program.

All projects in the SYIP that are eligible for federal funding will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which documents how Virignia will obligate its share of federal funds.

The working draft of the FY2007-2012 SYIP may be reviewed on VirginiaDOT.org and at VDOT district and residency offices after April 20, 2006.
