Ampliform LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documents for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Dinwiddie County, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60. The Lew Jones Solar Project will be located at 13597 Lew Jones Road in DeWitt, Virginia, centered at latitude and longitude coordinates 37.0378586, -77.6653713. The proposed project is a 20-megawatt alternating current (MWAC) photovoltaic ground-mounted solar facility comprised of approximately 43,900 solar modules. The Project area is approximately 307.5 acres with a disturbance zone of 246.9 acres.
