Purpose of the meeting
The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board will meet to consider three emergency regulations amending sections of chapter 3 VAC 5-50, to conform its regulations to a recent court decision. It will also consider an emergency regulation to add a new section to chapter 3 VAC 5-70, dealing with delivery permits, and a fast-track regulation to amend 3 VAC 5-70-220, to add internet wine retailers to the current regulation governing wine or beer shipper's licenses. Both of these changes are necessitated by recent legislation.
