| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing will be held in order to receive comments on 2 VAC 5-206, a proposed new regulation for the eradication of scrapie in Virginia goats and sheep. The federal regulation which became effective in September, 2001 restricts interstate movement of sheep and goats from states that have not initiated intrastate regulatory action concerning scrapie eradication. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | ||
