Purpose of the meeting
A public hearing to receive comments on proposed amendments to the Water Quality Standards regulation to designate certain waters in Amherst County as Tier III, exceptional state resource waters. The proposal appears in the Virginia Register of Regulations on January 23, 2006. The comment period begins on January 23, 2006 and ends on April 5, 2006. An informal question and answer period will being 1/2 hour before the public hearing.
