| Purpose of the meeting Secure services committee and non-secure services committee meet at 9 AM to receive certification audit reports of several residential and non-residential programs. The full Board meets at 10 AM to take action on the certification reports and hear other such business as comes before the Board. The Board of Juvenile Justice allows thirty minutes for public comment at its regular meetings. Speakers will be limited to five minutes each in the order their requests are received. Individuals wishing to speak should contact Deborah Hayes at 804.371.0704 three or more business days prior to the meeting. The Board reserves the right to allocate the time available to insure it hears different points of viewe. Persons not registered prior to the day of the meeting will speak after those who have pre-registered. Speakers are urged to confine their comments to one topic. Groups wishing to address a single subject are urged to designate a spokesperson. Speakers should provide at least 15 written copies of comments or other materials amplifying their views. | |
