| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Department), on behalf of the Charitable Gaming Board (Board), will meet with stakeholders to discuss charitable gaming prize amounts. Chapter 980 of the 2020 Acts of Assembly (House Bill 1690) requires the Board to convene a stakeholder work group to review the current limitations on prize amounts and provide any recommendations to the General Assembly by November 30, 2020. The Department will entertain public comment at the conclusion of the agenda for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |
