| Purpose of the meeting DEQ is hosting this stakeholder meeting to discuss proposed changes and requirements for application for the Agricultural BMP Loan Program. In July 2019, DEQ expects to resume the Agricultural BMP Loan Program to offer agricultural producers low cost options for implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs). Several changes are being proposed including zero percent interest on all loans, the potential for loan forgiveness, no "long term" loan requirement, and an expanded list of eligible practices. The proposed guidelines will be available for public comment later this spring and application materials are expected to be available summer 2019. | |
