| Purpose of the meeting A public meeting for the Department of Environmental Quality to exchange information with the interested public on technical issues related to the application for a permit modification for Crops Inc-King George County that would authorize the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals as fertilizer to an additional 1,050.7 acres of agricultural land at 6 sites located within King George County at controlled rates protective of water quality and human health. The types of technical issues to be discussed include: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the permit modification, the standard content of permits, and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit modification. | |
