| Purpose of the meeting The Commissioner and Associate Commission members of the Virginia Marine Resources Commission will meet at 9:30 AM on June 7, 2018, at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel, for a tour of the bridge and tunnel facilities associated with the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel & District’s plans to construct a new two-lane parallel tunnel directly to the west of the existing Thimble Shoals tunnel connecting Portal Island 1 and Portal Island 2 within the Chesapeake Bay.
