| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. Additionally, staff will request the Board’s approval of the following regulatory actions: • Final action to (i) promulgate 2 VAC 5-111, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Public and Private Animal Shelters, and (ii) repeal 2 VAC 5-110, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to a Pound or Enclosure to be Maintained By Each County or City • Proposed Fast Track action to repeal 2 VAC 5-160, Rules and Regulations Governing the Transportation of Horses • Proposed action to amend 2 VAC 5-670, Rules and Regulations for Enforcement of the Virginia Pesticide Law • Proposed action to amend 2 VAC 5-680, Regulations Governing Licensing of Pesticide Businesses Operating Under Authority of the Virginia Pesticide Control Act • Final action to amend 2 VAC 5-685, Regulations Governing Pesticide Applicator Certification Under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act • Proposed Emergency Regulation and Notice of Intended Regulatory Action to promulgate 2 VAC 5-425, Regulation for the Enforcement of the Virginia Motor Fuels and Lubricating Oils Law – Vapor Pressure Requirements for Gasoline Ethanol Blends The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes.
