| Purpose of the meeting A meeting of the Eastern Virginia Groundwater Management Advisory Committee Work Group on Alternative Sources of Supply. This work group will (I) identify options, including, but not limited to water reclamation and reuse, groundwater recharge, desalination, surface water options, and construction of storage reservoirs; (ii) evaluate how such structures might help with future growth and development, future individual reductions and regional water solutions; (iii) for each option, evaluate technical feasibility, data needs, cost, potential location, participants/users, environmental benefits and impacts; and (iv) conduct other tasks as identified by the EVGMAC. | |
