| Purpose of the meeting DEQ is convening a representative group of stakeholders to assist in determining the benefits and costs of seeking authority from EPA for the § 404 permitting program under the federal Clean Water Act. Pursuant to House Joint Resolution 243, the DEQ is studying the benefits and costs of seeking this authority to administer the § 404 permitting program which is currently administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. | |
