| Purpose of the meeting This is a meeting of the Shenandoah Valley Poultry Litter to Energy Watershed and Air Advisory Group. This advisory group has been established by the Virginia Departments of Environmental Quality and Conservation and Recreation. The group is assisting in the study of the concept of a large scale poultry litter-to-energy project. Such a project could help Virginia meet the Chesapeake Bay WIP requirements as well as the Commonwealth’s renewable energy goals. | |
