This directive transmits to field personnel a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy and the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry to clarify the regulatory responsibilities over the safety of persons on sites where the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (DMME) and the Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI) have jurisdiction. It updates an earlier MOU which expired in June of 2006. |
