The current confusion about gender in our society is an historical anomaly. While there have been limited examples at various times in history, no nation has ever pushed the issue to the degree that the United States has these past several years. It is likely that the pendulum will swing in another direction and this will be looked back upon as error. I agree that everyone deserves protection from bullying and persecution, but to build in curricula that attempt to perpetuate this idea of gender fluidity is a great mistake.
Good studies have shown that children are most successful when raised by a male and a female parent. Public policy should protect individuals, but should not erode the fundamentals of gender nor their importance to parenting.
Thank you for your kind attention.
