From Virginia Beach, where I live, I dream of looking seaward and seeing, not oil platforms to pollute our beaches and air, but a field of wind mills to light our homes and lives with clean energy. When I see that happening, I will know that Virginia has done the brave thing against powerful opposition, the right thing. To be sure, this will not be easy, but it is necessary for us today, and for future generations. The science tells us the era of coal, oil and the other carbon fuels must end, or there won't be many more future generations on planet Earth.    Let those future generations remember that we did the right thing.
