Fight climate change

Knowing the tremendous volume of methane released/leaked in fracking for natural gas, the proposed pipelines (ACP and MVP) are unacceptable. There are many more reasons the pipelines are a terrible idea, but their impact on climate change is simply unacceptable. It is time to push hard for a radical uptick in renewable energy. Look at any neighboring state to see how behind we are. Last year, North Carolina was third in the nation in solar capacity. The first quarter of '17 was so robust, they are now second in the nation. And, one of the largest wind farms E. of the Mississippi is in N.Carolina, Amazon Wind. The two-turbine installation planned off Virginia, not to materialize until 2020, is a sad dodge from getting down to the work needed. We need all the renewable energy we can get, yesterday. There's no time to waste. Climate Change marches on, and there's no do-overe.
