I support this as a parent of a transgender (gender-fluid) teenager that also has special needs, Cerebral Palsy is one of them. And recently I have been striving to learn more to better support my child. I am still working on many things inside of myself that will take time, but the one thing I am truly, absolutely 100% sure of is the unconditional love and devotion I have as a mother for her child. The outside world and the harsh ways of society are what scares me the most. If lawmakers etc would perhaps put themselves in our sometimes stressful parental shoes, I believe we might be able to look at our kids' futures with a bit more confidence and not as much fear for their safety and welfare.
