There have been numerous comments referring to abortion facilities and their services as a necessary staple of women's healthcare, women's reproductive health, family health, etc.  There is a strong sentiment from the abortion-minded that these facilities and what they offer are paramount and necessary for the sake of women and health in general.  If that is so, if health is really the intent, then why wouldn't those supporting these facilities want to do everything in their power to ensure the safest care of women?  This is puzzling.  Rather, it shows the true intent of the abortion-minded...just grandfather everything in and don't require abortion facilities to adhere to health industry standards because that would impact their bottom line.

Earlier this year, The Family Foundation examined inspection documents obtained from the Department of Health through the Freedom of Information Act that found over 80 health and safety violations in just nine of Virginia’s 20 abortion centers.  This is UNSATISFACTORY, unsafe, and irresponsible.  The billion dollar abortion industry simply cannot be trusted to put patient safety ahead of profit.

If any other organization or entity was found to have so many safety and health violations, they would be shut down or indefinitely closed.  These facilities should certainly follow the same protocol and be shutdown to clean up their act before re-opening, if they even deem themselves responsible enough to re-open, which is unlikely.  Quite frankly, it is a disgrace to women everywhere that they remain open, for the sake of women's real health, the sake of the women inside of their body, and the sake of a just society that stands for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people.
