I strongly oppose DMAS’s decision to eliminate Services Facilitation. This decision is unfair, disappointing, and completely disregards the hard work of Service Facilitators and the families who depend on us.
We have spent years building trust, supporting individuals with disabilities, and ensuring they receive proper care. How can DMAS justify eliminating an entire profession without seriously considering the consequences?
Families deserve the freedom to choose their Service Facilitators, not be forced into a new system.
We are not just numbers in a budget. Our work matters, and the people we serve matter even more.
I urge DMAS to stop this decision and listen to the families and professionals who will be directly affected. Cutting costs should never be more important than people’s well-being!
