DO NOt take away service Failitators!-NO Broker model, no 56 hour cap, no EVV for live ins

I am the mother of a 30 year old son with severe autism that requires 24 hour care daily.

I understand the desire to have "Better outcomes" for people with disabilities but these proposed changes do not and will not achieve that goal.

Broker model: There has been no explanation by DMAS for how this will work and evlidence that proves it will be helpful both fiscally and for families. This needs to be done first.

56 hour cap: Life with my son is not lived in 8 hour shifts, it is all day every day. We cannot provide for all his care in 8 hours, especially to provide for his safety. What happens on holidays or times when other care calls out? My son needs care regardless of the timeclock.

EVV for live in caregivers: There are so many errors and glitches with the app, this is supposed to be "easy" it is not and it puts much more stress on already exhausted caregivers.  Please stop this!

Thank you for your attention.
