Service facilitators have changed my life. The impossibility of navigating the complicated systems for families require a service facilitator to help a family of people with disabilities get the supports and service that are available to them.
The burden on families is too much. The burden of the daily care makes it very difficult to have time to know and access the available supports.
The agencies and service facilitators are necessary to families who face frustration trying to work with impersonal umbrella agencies who do a poor job with questions and problems.
Please do not take our service facilitators away. Life is too hard with a disability and families are in crisis without boots on the ground helping them.
