Medicaid Waiver amendment proposals

As a parent tending to an autistic adult, I can say that I am very busy. I know that most fellow parents are as well. It is difficult to get everything done every day: laundry, shopping, food prep (with dietary restrictions), medications (on time and completely taken). Sudden changes are wrenching for us and for the people we care about and care for. This is a full-time job, and by that we mean 24 hours a day and seven days a week. When our child messes the bed at 3 AM we are up and helping clean up. I say this not to be graphic, but to be realistic. It may seem reasonable to instill a 56-hour limit; who works more than 56 hours a week?

We do. If anything, we think we are underpaid, not overpaid.

This all seems like a lot of changes in a short time. I can't be sure whether these changes will directly effect my family, and that is part of the problem as well. Can we please slow this process and have further discussions? It is a matter of time to the state government, but may be a matter of life and death to these families. Thank you for the consideration.
