I support REPEALING the ban on weapons in EMS vehicles. As a former Paramedic for 2 local cities, I know firsthand the uncertain and often rapidly evolving situations that our EMS and Fire Personnel can find themselves in. It was not uncommon to be on a female only crew or even on the Zone car alone. I would have appreciated the opportunity to ensure my own safety and that of my crew and my patients.
