Long time coming

The menhaden industry has decimated the migratory striped bass fishery in the Chesapeake Bay, has caused a decline in osprey populations, and trends suggest there could be several other negative effects on the Chesapeake Bay. The Chesapeake Bay is a natural, cultural, and environmental heritage resource that should be held in tact for equitable use, not pillaged for the gain of foreign business.
