It has become painfully obvious that  the Chesapeake Bays menhaden  fishery has been overfished. There is plenty of evidence to support this including the industries own catch data. The wishes of the residents of Virginia should have priority and much more weight than a single corporation with massive lobbying power. The menhaden fishery is the property of the residents of Virginia! The residents have clearly stated thier desire to leave menhaden in the bay (recentCBF survey).
