I have live in the bay all of my life and fished it just as long as you can see the difference in the bay in regards to preditor fish. The menhaden are not there and the fish that feed on them are leaving the bay or being killed by the boats catching the menhaden. You would not believe how many times a year the shore lines are full of dead drum and other fish from the menhaden fleet. Also birds of prey are disappearing on the shore lines. Why? Maybe because they have nothing to eat as well. Stop the menhaden fishing in the bay and up to the three mile line of the shores in the ocean. Save the bay and your local fisherman over the big company that does nothing for the state.
