You are using violence against women to perpetuate more violence against women. Women's safety, including trans women's safety, should always be a focus. Why not work to create better legislation protecting actual victims of assault, instead of only caring what happens in bathrooms? (By the way, this simply isn't happening in women's bathrooms or locker rooms.)
Anyone who thinks people are transitioning just to play women's basketball or run track and field is completely misguided and using extreme talking points to conjure fear. It is simply an effort to erase trans people.
Anyone who thinks people are transitioning to get into a women's bathroom and use it lecherously must unfortunately have an inappropriate relative and they should seek counseling instead of trying to ruin other people's lives.
I didn't have to transition to play women's sports, but this lesbian certainly had every opportunity to be creepy in the bathroom. Why wasn't I? Because contrary to what the pearl clutchers are always thinking -- not everything is about sex. It's creepy you want to make it that way.
Please, can we end this era of trying to set dangerous policy through these executive organizations? How embarrassing for the Virginians interested in fixing actual issues. And it is insulting to our legislative branch.
