I urge the Virginia Board of Health to approve this petition for rulemaking to limit female sports and spaces to biological women only. This is not about discrimination; it’s about fairness and safety of biological females. Ignoring biological reality harms women and girls. The state has a duty to protect its citizens and to the extent possible, to ensure a level playing field, which will not be the case when biological females are competing with athletes, who by nature, have an almost insurmountable advantage. Ideally, a space would be developed for trans athletes to compete in leagues that would challenge them at their level, which will never be the case when they are competing against biological females. Please approve this request for rule making and help Virginia lead the way in protecting women’s sports and spaces.
