I support this 100%. Trans rights must not impede women’s and girls’ rights to fair and safe sports, and privacy and comfort in locations of undress. Trans rights are human rights, of course, but the rights of males are not more important and must not *take priority* over those of females.
One problem with laws that give males access to female spaces is that predatory males (men who peep, intimidate, assault, and/or rape) always look for routes - including legal loooholes - of access to girls and women; laws that allow men simply to “declare their ID” as trans with little or no legal requirements for such an ID (as is the case now) and enter any sport or space creates RISKS for girls and women; it’s wrong. Some would say that the social and political pressure on everyone now to allow males into female-only spaces and sports is a men’s rights movement…
