As a post-op transgender woman, I want to point out that most, if not all, transgender women are too self conscious to enter an intimate space with cisgender women unless they have undergone sex reassignment surgery anyway. We don't want to be the odd person out in those spaces, and our existence during early transition is tough enough while we don't appear very feminine yet. This petition isn't protecting cisgender women from transgender women because we pose no threat. If you feel your safety is threatened, it is probably male predators you are fearful of, not transgender women. This petition does nothing to prevent a predator with bad intent from committing crimes. Reject this petition.
