This is another example of hatred filtering through Virginia politics. Trans women are women. If the Republican Party is so obsessed with genitalia and people’s bodies, why don’t they use their power for good and make sure we have universal healthcare in rural Virginia?  Or dental?  Or food?  Why are we in Virginia wasting time and money on a bill that will affect a small vulnerable population?  Ask yourself why this bill matters. This bill is about disenfranchisement and making trans women and men in Virginia feel “less than”.   It is disgusting politics and needs to be out of our legislative agenda in Virginia. I oppose this vehemently.
